We are Kayla, Mirta and Edoardo .
We are fueled by a passion for life, a love for nature, and a spirit of exploration.
Each of us brings unique skills and distinct personalities to the crew, yet it’s our shared love for the sea and community that unites us.
Together, we have ventured across the seas and created beautiful stories.
We’re eager to show you the journey that will make us laugh our tears out and warm our hearts and souls.

Her teaching is rooted and seeded in yoga philosophy, and the expression of the asana practice she creates is dynamic and flowy, grounded and playful, where she encourages the consciousness to move, to breathe and to explore.
Kayla had her first yoga class as a teen when it suddenly became the new trend in her hometown, a small city south of China, and decided yoga was not for her. It took 10 years for yoga to find her again during a weekend retreat in a Buddhism temple nearby Shanghai, where she felt a sense of deeper connection with her body like meeting a new familiar friend for the first time.
Led by her first teacher Ganesha Singh, she continued to nurture and deepen this body connection with asana practice, and later on extended her exploration into breathing and meditation to create space to pause and ponder in the buzzy life in Shanghai.
She moved to Amsterdam in 2021, and inspired by the amazing teaching of Gregory Lennon and Gretchen Garnett, she completed 200-hour teacher training [Yoga Alliance Certification] and found her voice to share and teach in 2023.
His signature approach combines adventure with safety and a welcoming space, creating experiences where the crew can enjoy at full every moment—complete with great food and wine to nourish both body and soul.
Born an alpinist, his love for exploration began as a child, when he ventured alone into the Western Alps. Driven by curiosity and a sense of wonder, he wandered through the forest and climbed to his first summit. Though he returned to a well-deserved scolding from his parents, his spirit of adventure was ignited.
Later he moved to Genoa and the blue called to him just as the mountains once had. He took his first sailing lesson and since then he’s logged thousands of miles in both races and personal journeys, earned his RYA skipper certification, and chose Amsterdam as his homeport.
Whether enjoying serene sailing in the Med or battling challenging conditions in the North, sailing demands complete focus and presence, a rhythm that brings into the present moment, restoring a deep connection with both the natural world, one’s true self and the people in the crew.
For Edoardo, sailing is also about reconnecting with who we are and with each other, living fully in the moment.
In this spirit, he volunteers as an instructor at the Centro Velico Caprera, the largest sailing school of the Mediterranean and keeps exploring the North Sea and the Mediterranean with his crews and his little big 27 feet bluewater sailboat.
Sailing has been part of Mirta's life for as long as she can remember—her parents, both sailors, introduced her and her brothers to life on the sea from a young age. At just five years old, Mirta began her journey on the tiniest and cutest boat imaginable, the Optimist. That little boat sparked a lifelong love for open water.
Since then, her passion for sailing has carried her across the Mediterranean Sea on large vessels with family and friends. In parallel, Mirta has refined her skills on fast, agile boats, which demand precision and focus. Her pride and joy is her Laser 1, affectionately named “Petit Bateau,” a small but powerful sailboat that teaches respect for the wind and waves while delivering an adrenaline-filled experience.
At 25, Mirta had the honor of becoming an instructor at the Centro Velico Caprera, one of the most prestigious sailing schools in the Mediterranean. She believes that successful sailing rests on two core principles: prudence and teamwork. As she often reminds her students, the best journeys happen when the crew feels safe and connected. Her goal is to create an environment where everyone can enjoy the beauty of sailing, fully at ease.
When she’s not on the water, you’ll find her stargazing. Inspired by her partner’s love for astronomy, Mirta has developed a fascination with constellations and the myths surrounding them. Sharing this magic with fellow travelers is one of her favorite parts of any voyage—bringing a bit of the stars down to earth while they’re at sea.
