We understand that plans can sometimes change, and our goal is to offer a cancellation policy that is both transparent and considerate of all our guests.Since our retreats are on a sailboat, slots are limited. Cancellations can affect others who are looking forward to joining this unique experience.With this in mind, we’ve crafted a policy that balances flexibility for our participants while ensuring a harmonious experience for everyone involved.
Payment Schedule
Deposit: €600 due upon booking (secures your place). Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
Remaining Balance: due by April 1st, 2025.
Refund Policy
Cancel before January 1st, 2025: In the event of a cancellation, only the non-refundable deposit will contribute to the retreat.
Cancel before April 1st, 2025: 50% of the due balance will contribute to the retreat, along with the non-refundable deposit. With this, we intend to allow some flexibility if your plans change early on.
Cancel after April 1st, 2025: Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided after this date. Since spaces are limited, we want to ensure that late cancellations do not affect other guest's experience.'

Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of €600 is required to secure your booking.
The balance must be paid no later than April 1st, 2025. Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.
By booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Guests:
Cancellations before January 1, 2025: Only the non-refundable deposit of €600 will be retained.
Cancellations before April 1, 2025: 50% of the balance paid, along with the deposit, will be retained.
Cancellations after April 1, 2025: No refunds will be provided.
Cancellation or Modification by Sail and Yoga:
The itinerary may be subject to change due to weather, safety concerns, or operational factors. Minor modifications—such as changes to the daily schedule, meal adjustments, or destination substitutions for safety, a change in the name or type of the a vessel as long as is not implying a change of accommodation to that of a lower official classification or standard, —are not grounds for refunds. Any changes to the itinerary will be communicated as soon as possible.
Our retreat experiences are carefully curated to include all guests, but modifications may occur, and alternative activities may be provided if certain planned events are not feasible.
While we will make every effort to continue the retreat as planned, in case we have to cancel the retreat for the following reasons, no refunds or compensation will be provided. Outside those listed in the following points, a full refund without additional compensation will be offered, or you may transfer your booking to another available date.
Adverse weather.
Events beyond our control, including but not limited to force majeure events such as acts of God, war, political instability, pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, organisation, major health issues of the crew and government-imposed travel restrictions
3. Fitness, Health, and Safety
Guest Responsibility: Guests are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions prior to the retreat. This information is critical for ensuring safety, and failure to disclose relevant conditions may release us from any liability.
Health and Fitness Requirements: By booking, guests confirm that they are physically fit and capable of participating in sailing, yoga, and related activities. Guests are responsible for bringing any necessary medication or health supplies.
Safety and Conduct: Guests agree to follow safety instructions and demonstrate good judgment and respect toward others onboard. We are not liable for any incidents arising from a failure to adhere to safety guidelines or act responsibly.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to ensure a safe and enriching experience, participating in sailing and yoga involves inherent risks. Sail & Yoga Retreats is not liable for any injuries, loss, or damages incurred during the retreat, except where caused by our gross negligence.
Guests participate at their own risk and are encouraged to obtain travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal property.
5. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements
Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, and health documents required to participate in the retreat. Failure to meet these requirements, which may lead to a missed or interrupted trip, will not be grounds for a refund from us.
6. Use of Photos, Videos, and Privacy
We may take photos and videos during the retreat to capture the spirit of our experience together. By participating, you consent to allow Sail & Yoga Retreat to use these images and footage on our website, social media, and in promotional materials. If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform us upon booking.
Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Personal details, including health information, are collected solely to provide a safe and enjoyable experience and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data. 6. Bathrooms
Whereas boat is full and all cabins are allocated to the guests, crew will need to use bathrooms. The crew will contribute to keep that bathroom tidy and clean.
7. Boat amenities and personal equipment
One set of linen will be supplied for everyone on board, including a towel and hand towel. We will also provide bed sheets (top and bottom), pillow, pillowcase, and blanket. Beach towels are not provided.

8. Liability for Damages to the vessel
Guests will be held liable for any damage caused to the boat, whether internal or external, arising from negligence, misuse, or disregard for the vessel's care and safety protocols. This includes but is not limited to damage to the boat’s furnishings, equipment, fixtures, or exterior. In the event of such damage, guests will be responsible for covering the cost of repairs, replacements, or any necessary cleaning fees. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, guests acknowledge their duty to respect the vessel and act responsibly while aboard.

Code of Conduct: a Safe and Inclusive journey
We are committed to ensuring that the sailing experience is a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone on board. To uphold this, we expect all guests to adhere to a Code of Conduct that values respect for one another and the crew.
Inclusiveness and Mutual Respect: Guests must treat each other and the crew with respect and consideration, fostering a sense of community and safety for all. Disrespectful, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Skipper’s Authority: The skipper holds the final authority on board and may take appropriate disciplinary measures to maintain the well-being and safety of the group. This can include interventions up to and including disembarking a guest at the nearest safe port if they fail to comply with the Code of Conduct. No refunds will be issued for any part of the retreat missed as a result of such action.
Reporting Concerns: Guests are encouraged to report any incidents of disrespectful or inappropriate behavior to any member of the crew. For those who wish to remain anonymous, an anonymous report form is available and can be discreetly placed in the designated box located in the crew cabin.
